Last night I had the treat to go and see Mumford and Sons on their Railroad tour. Wow. If you have a chance to see them life make sure you do it. The show was set in the Port of Oakland alongside some railroad tracks and the ocean. Basically in a field, they had carnival/fair type booths and food set up. There was an old steam train that would whistle to announce the end of a band, a large snail that spit fire, and an old pick up truck. The backdrop for this venue was a breathtaking view of the bay and once the sun set you could see the many lights of the San Francisco skyline. Beautiful.
From their unique sound, to their lyrics, to their beautiful harmonies, they are for sure one of my tops bands right now. The English accents don’t hurt either. 😉
